Ebury is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Regulatory FinCrime Compliance domain. The team works closely with Compliance, Risk, and Product to design and implement data-driven controls, detection mechanisms, and investigative tools across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Design and maintain data models and datasets used for transaction monitoring, customer risk scoring, and financial crime investigations.
- Own end-to-end delivery of FinCrime analytics solutions: requirements gathering, data extraction, transformation, validation, and deployment.
- Develop and optimise detection logic and monitoring rules (e.g. transaction monitoring scenarios, anomaly detection, behavioural patterns).
- Perform data quality checks and controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and auditability of FinCrime datasets.
- Build dashboards and analytical tools (Looker / Looker Studio or similar) for monitoring risk exposure, alerts, and investigation pipelines.
- Support regulatory and internal audits, providing traceability of data, methodologies, and controls.
- Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of FinCrime processes (screening, monitoring, alert handling).
