Data Analyst Co-Op

Role Overview

Assist in designing data architecture, develop and implement automated routines for data collection, and collaborate with research and data science teams to perform exploratory data analytics. Contribute to planning and road mapping new features and functionality, and support multi-disciplinary agile teams in developing and improving AI models.

What You Will Do

Create reports and metrics to drive more efficient initiatives, document and present progress/results to stakeholders and other teams, and assist with other project activities as assigned.

You should have experience with SQL and Python, and be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related engineering or science field.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related engineering or science field
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Junior or Senior class standing
• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills desired
• Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools are a plus
