Account Manager – State & Local Government (Southeast)

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Business Development team, working with local governments to help them better serve their communities through the use of geospatial technology. The successful candidate will be a customer-oriented team player who can identify and implement strategies to improve the challenges faced by organizations. They will work closely with a team to optimize and expand adoption of Esri technology, identify new areas of growth, and share expertise to deliver on their mission.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
  • Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various industries and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
