The Sales Engineer is responsible for managing and growing aftermarket sales by maintaining and developing strong relationships with key customers and trade organizations. This role focuses on driving bookings, managing customer accounts across the aftermarket lifecycle, and delivering value-based solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering or technical discipline
- Few years of relevant sales or engineering experience, ideally within aftermarket sales
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, including pumps, mechanical seals, and associated systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional business documentation
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites and perform required physical activities
