Data Engineer – Production Support

Requirements

• Provide support to business users accessing Power BI dashboards and Data Warehouse tables
• Manage incidents and service requests, ensuring resolution within defined SLAs
• Work with the team on managing Azure resources including but not limited to Databricks, Azure Data Factory pipelines, ADLS etc.
• Build new ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Products such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks etc.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and processes
• Monitor & support various data loads for our Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Coordinate with upstream/downstream teams to resolve data issues
• Collaborate with the QA and Development teams to ensure appropriate automated regression tests are implemented to detect similar issues in the future
• Partner with the Development team to enhance automated error handling, aiming to minimize the need for manual interventions
• Analyze processes and patterns to proactively identify and resolve other similar, unreported Production data issues collectively
