Role Overview
The Compensation & People Operations Analyst will play a vital role in translating Generate’s compensation philosophy into world-class programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent. The role will involve partnering with Finance, Legal, the Talent Team, and external consultants to ensure compensation programs are market-driven, well-designed, and clearly communicated.
What You Will Do
The Compensation & People Operations Analyst will assist in the development and execution of the company’s compensation strategy, conduct market research and benchmarking analyses, support the implementation and management of a new compensation system, and collaborate closely with the Talent team and senior leaders to ensure alignment between compensation and performance management processes.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Ideally 2+ years of compensation experience in broad-based compensation, compensation consulting, and people operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret compensation data and market trends
- Proficient in using compensation benchmarking tools, HRIS systems, and strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel
- Clear and confident presentation skills; capable of conveying complex concepts across stakeholder groups
- Strong team player, with proven ability to drive results both collaboratively and independently
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Unimpeachable integrity and glowing references
- High level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting uncomfortable situations or new challenges
