Senior Financial Analyst, Technical Infrastructure

Role Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will lead the financial evaluation and prioritization of Google’s network growth and technology investments, providing actionable insights that have a meaningful impact on the business.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for overseeing Business Case Reviews (BCRs), performing advanced financial modeling, and driving cost efficiencies. You will serve as the subject matter expert on major R&D investment decisions, providing data-driven recommendations directly to executive engineering, business, and finance leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function
• Experience with financial modeling
• Experience with networking infrastructure (engineering, financial analysis)
• Experience in business case analysis and prioritization frameworks for research and development efforts
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across all levels to align on project goals and deliver results on time
• Experience conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis to identify and manage risk and opportunity
• Experience taking ownership of business initiatives and challenging proposals to drive project outcomes
