The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software programming and 2+ years of experience in software development, mobile apps, web, or back-end development. The role involves designing and deploying features across Google Play’s mobile, web, and back-end ecosystems, leading technical designs for back-end services, and ensuring feature reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience with software programming in C++, Java, Python, or Go
- Experience in software development
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred)
- Experience with mobile apps, web, full-stack, or back-end development (preferred)
- Experience in building systems that scale to users globally (preferred)
- Experience in working with Product Management/User Experience (UX) to drive end-to-end features (preferred)
- Ability to work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs
- Leadership qualities and enthusiasm to take on new problems across the full-stack
