Role Overview
The Data Scientist will strengthen Portugal’s internal capability in data, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, translating complex information into actionable insights and scalable solutions that improve decision-making, commercial effectiveness and organisational productivity.
What You Will Do
Lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics, AI and data science solutions that support strategic and operational business decision-making. Translate complex data and analytical findings into clear recommendations that improve commercial performance and business outcomes.

Requirements
- University degree or equivalent practical experience
- Strong proficiency in analytical programming and data manipulation, preferably using Python and/or R, SQL and modern data visualisation tools
- Practical knowledge of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics, machine learning and statistical modelling
- Ability to develop automated reporting, dashboards and scalable analytical workflows
- Understanding of data quality, governance, privacy, model documentation and responsible use of AI
