Role Overview

The Sales Operations Specialist (SOS) is a valuable resource for Regional Partners and Account Executives, supporting sales and marketing efforts by requesting quotes, managing Salesforce.com opportunities, and corresponding with customers. The SOS is required to interact with manufacturing partners, internal business partners, and customers in a fast-paced support atmosphere, managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines. The SOS must keep their finger on the pulse of all opportunities that they are responsible for in their region, using Salesforce.com to provide accurate forecasting reports.

What You Will Do

Use Salesforce.com to generate quotes, track opportunities, and process orders. Promptly respond to internal and external inquiries. Suggest creative pricing and payment solutions balancing customer need and pricing policies. Serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, and GuidePoint outside Sales Executives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years in a customer service/sales support type role
  • Prior experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software required
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office and Internet Navigation
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and a strong team player with excellent follow-through
  • Positive, results-driven, open to constructive feedback, and adaptable to ambiguity
  • Solid Math skills with the ability to calculate margins/discounts, and percentages required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools
  • Ability to work flexible work schedule required
