Structured Trade Finance Business Development Officer

Gunvor Group is seeking a motivated finance officer to assist in arranging structured trade commodity and shipping asset financing deals in support of the Group’s growing business development ambitions in the Asia-Pacific region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• Minimum 5-7 years assisting in a corporate finance or investment banking deal origination role
• Good knowledge of local and regional commodity markets and ship financing sector
• Good knowledge of loan documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong proficiency on advanced Excel and Powerpoint capabilities
• Strong aptitude for Mathematics
• Strong grasp of financial and accounting principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Mandarin
• Self-starter, display pro-active mindset with ability to work independently
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
• Willingness to travel when required
• Organised and meticulous with ability to offer out of the box solutions
