The Business Development Advisor will evaluate and network business opportunities and then convert winning opportunities into value enhancement for Hilcorp. The role requires 10 years of experience in the upstream segment of the oil & gas industry and the ability to quickly assess problems and provide accurate and timely solutions.
Requirements
- Keep abreast of market trends and regulatory changes impacting Hilcorp business in Alaska.
- Independently identify opportunities to grow, expand or optimize Hilcorp business.
- Build bespoke financial models, applying Hilcorp key financial metrics, to support business opportunities
- Evaluate opportunities for business expansion or optimization, presenting business cases to leadership for review and approval.
- Develop relationships with external counter parties to evaluate and develop business opportunities.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and various commercial arrangements.
- Provide analytical support to the marine business in support of strategic decision making and performance management.
