Role Overview
Meet and exceed sales budgets, prospect new businesses, and provide exceptional customer service to direct and agency accounts. Work closely with other departments to create promotional sales solutions and attend special events. Utilize sales software and have a thorough understanding of rates, promotions, inventory, and personnel.
What You Will Do
Prepare sales presentations, follow up on pending business, update sales manager on progress, and obtain credit approval for new accounts. Ensure all accounts are paid in a timely manner and follow up on past due accounts.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Previous sales, advertising, digital sales, or media experience is preferred. Knowledge of broadcasting and digital terminology and methodology is also preferred. Ability to think critically, analytically, creatively, and logically, and to articulate information in a clear and concise manner is required.

- Knowledge of broadcasting and digital terminology and methodology
- Ability to understand features and benefits of advertising and competitive media
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word for Windows
- Sales software knowledge
- Excellent written and oral English language communication skills
- Ability to develop presentations for direct-business selling
- Ability to think critically, analytically, creatively, and logically
- Ability to read, hear and speak clearly and follow both oral and written direction
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and safe driving history
