Senior Growth Area Planner

Role Overview

The Senior Growth Area Planner contributes to the strategic planning and sustainable growth of Hume through the development and implementation of land use planning policies, while providing strategic advice and managing key planning projects.

What You Will Do

Assist in the preparation of new structure plans and development plans, support the administration of development contributions, and participate in the review and development of new planning strategies.

Requirements

• A tertiary degree or equivalent in urban and regional planning with relevant experience
• Knowledge of State planning legislation, State strategic planning policy and practice
• Well-developed skills in analysis and the application of appropriate research methods
• Ability to provide a strategic perspective in the consideration of individual development proposals
• High level skills in managing time and setting priorities
