Role Overview
The Sales Director – Gas & Petrochemical for Europe is a senior commercial leadership role accountable for driving commercial performance, strategic growth, and market consistency across the European region. The role ensures strong alignment between global Gas & Petrochemical strategy and regional execution across diverse and mature markets. This position plays a key role in strengthening IMI Process Automation’s footprint with European end users, EPCs, and partners, balancing complex New Build projects with a strong focus on Aftermarket growth.
What You Will Do
Define and execute the European commercial strategy for Gas & Petrochemical, in alignment with global priorities. Lead regional sales and business development activities across New Builds and Aftermarket, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth. Drive project pursuit, bid strategy, and opportunity prioritization in coordination with country and global teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Extensive experience of commercial leadership experience in Gas & Petrochemical or adjacent industries, ideally within Europe
- Proven success in managing multi-country sales organizations
- Strong understanding of aftermarket and service-driven business models
- Experience operating in complex, matrixed environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills at all organizational levels
- High cultural awareness and ability to operate effectively across diverse European markets
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a strong advantage
