Position Summary

The Sales Operations Supervisor reports to the Division Manager of National Accounts and supports the ongoing requirements of IPS’s National Account customers, and plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence. The position’s priorities include project management, sales reporting, customer analysis, problem resolution, and business improvement. Serving as a trusted resource to the National Accounts team, this role helps coordinate communication across departments, manages follow-through on customer initiatives, and ensures IPS is positioned for success with its National Account partners.

Position Responsibilities – Essential

  • Prepare sales reports to discover insights, identify areas for improvement, and support customer presentations.
  • Coordinate internal resources to manage onboarding of new business and transitions with customers.
  • Assist National Account Managers, Coordinators, and Liaisons with problem resolution and issues that negatively impact customer service levels.
  • Build a close working relationship with other IPS departments to ensure effective communication and successful execution of joint initiatives.
  • Track progress against customer agreements, including productivity improvement and cost-savings commitments.
  • Partner with the Procurement team to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement them successfully without impacting customers.
  • Work with the Division Manager to build a support team and systems that enable the continued growth of the National Account business at IPS.
  • Lead or assist with project management initiatives as assigned.

  • Dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering results

Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 or more years of work experience in a similar role
  • PC proficient in Windows-based programs and the internet
  • Strong expertise with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus
