Senior Manager, Business Development

Role Overview

This role is focused on driving strategic growth and expanding impact within the public health and government consulting space through structured business development and proposal leadership. The position plays a key role in identifying new opportunities across state and municipal agencies, building strong pipelines, and managing the end-to-end proposal lifecycle.

What You Will Do

Lead end-to-end opportunity identification and tracking, manage the full business development lifecycle, serve as lead coordinator for RFP/RFQ responses, develop and refine proposal content, and build and maintain business development tools and tracking systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in business development, proposal management, or related consulting roles
• Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field
• Proven experience managing RFPs and RFQs for state, municipal, or public health agencies
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Experience working independently while coordinating cross-functional and external stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and proposal management tools
• Strong interpersonal skills with a client-service and collaboration mindset
