Job Details
This executive role will be responsible for all revenue-generating processes within our organization. The CRO will play a pivotal role in our company’s success by developing and executing strategies to optimize profitability, spearheading business development efforts, and ensuring a seamless handoff of projects to operations. This role requires a deep understanding of the construction industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving growth in competitive markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies to drive profitable growth and meet or exceed company revenue targets.
- Lead all business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, pursuing potential leads, and securing contracts.
- Collaborate closely with Estimating and Operations departments to ensure accurate project estimation and smooth handoff to operations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to facilitate business growth.
- Analyze market trends, identify potential threats and opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Oversee the negotiation and finalization of contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide strategic guidance to the Executive Leadership team, contributing to overall company strategy and decision-making.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in all revenue-generating processes.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, with a focus on revenue generation and business development in the construction industry.
- Proven success leading revenue strategy and business development efforts for a construction company, contractor, or infrastructure-related organization.
- Strong understanding of how construction work is developed, pursued, estimated, negotiated, awarded, and successfully handed off to operations.
- Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Estimating, Operations, and Executive Leadership to drive profitable growth.
- Track record of winning and growing business in complex, competitive, relationship-driven markets.
- Experience in Hawaiʻi, island markets, or other logistically complex construction environments is strongly preferred.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members towards achieving company goals.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management or related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
Salary: $275,000 – $350,000 per year
