Role Overview

Kalman & Company is seeking a highly motivated, performance-driven individual with strong data analysis experience to work closely with our Department of Warfare (DoW) clients. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills and the ability to principally contribute to several of the largest and most significant studies in Kalman’s portfolios.

What You Will Do

Work directly with stakeholders to understand their requirements and apply data analytics tools and methods to streamline monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Python, R, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and/or Word.

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative Field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Computer Science, etc.)
• 5+ years of data analytics experience
• Knowledge of DoW acquisition, financial, and PPBE processes and experience supporting DoW decision analysis efforts.
• Strong quantitative skills with ability to critically analyze client requirements, disparate collections of datasets and market intelligence and synthesize all inputs in into coherent, insightful cost deliverables, findings, and recommendations.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication.
• Comprehensive understanding of current principles, practices, and techniques of Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, and Business Intelligence.
• Skilled in using data analytics tools such as Access, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
