Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially focused individual to promote, maintain and increase the sales of KION’s Automation portfolio, specifically Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). The role is home-based but will require significant travel across the UK, including overnight stays as required.

What You Will Do

As Automation Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving individual and team sales targets by promoting KION automation solutions to both existing and prospective customers. You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities and driving growth within the automation segment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a direct sales role, ideally within solution-based or technical sales
  • Experience or understanding of AGVs, AMRs or automation solutions
  • Experience in managing large tenders and complex sales cycles
  • Understanding of materials handling flows within warehouse operations
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels
  • Excellent presentation skills, including preparation of proposals and PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • IT literate, including intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Full UK driving licence
