Sales Operations Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted operational partner to Sales leadership, translating commercial priorities into clear processes, operating cadences, and execution plans
  • Establish sales operating standards, workflows, reporting, and accountability across National/Key Accounts, Brand Ambassadors, International Distributors and Sales Support
  • Act as an escalation point for complex operational issues that may affect customers, revenue, service levels, or sales productivity
  • Prepare and facilitate weekly business health reviews for the Executive team, ensuring performance and risks are clearly identified

Sales Systems, Process & Data Governance

  • Own Sales business requirements, user adoption, and continuous improvement for CRM, ERP, and related commercial tools in partnership with IT and system owners
  • Design and standardize scalable workflows for account setup, pipeline management, pricing and discount approvals, order submission, customer programs, and sales communications
  • Establish governance for customer master data, territories, sales assignments, price lists, commercial terms, and other sales-critical data
  • Drive consistent CRM and ERP usage, data quality, documentation, and process compliance across the Sales organization
  • Develop SOPs and user training while identifying opportunities to automate manual work and reduce duplicate entry

Sales Performance, Reporting & Commercial Insights

  • Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards providing visibility into revenue, bookings, shipments, pipeline, order book, target attainment, and performance by account, channel, territory, and product
  • Monitor operating metrics such as backorders, cancellations, fill rates, service levels, and other indicators affecting customer experience and revenue realization
  • Analyze sales performance trends to identify risks, opportunities, root causes, and recommended actions for Sales leadership
  • Own the recurring Sales reporting calendar and help establish a reliable single source of truth for commercial performance
  • Support sales planning, account and territory goal setting, target allocation, and scenario analysis in partnership with Sales and Finance
  • Support commission and sales incentive administration through performance tracking and data validation in partnership with Finance and People & Culture

Order Book, Customer Programs & Go-to-Market Execution

  • Oversee visibility and operational health of the wholesale order book, ensuring Sales and Sales Support have accurate information on order status, availability, and execution risks
  • Establish controls for order exceptions, special pricing, discounts, commercial terms, cancellations, returns, and other non-standard requests
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Production, Fulfillment, and Customer Experience to resolve order delays, allocation challenges, and recurring service issues
  • Coordinate operational requirements for account onboarding, seasonal programs, prebooks, promotions, and new product launches
  • Build and manage Sales workback plans for major launches and commercial initiatives, tracking readiness, dependencies, risks, and decisions across functions
  • Ensure required SKUs, pricing, customer setup, system configurations, allocation guidance, sales materials, and field communications are ready for execution

Commercial Planning and Demand Alignment

  • Partner with Demand Planning to provide complete, timely, and validated Sales inputs for forecasting and S&OP processes
  • Track sales and order pacing against plan and communicate material changes, risks, and opportunities to Sales leadership and planning partners
  • Support account and channel prioritization during constrained inventory situations using customer commitments, commercial priorities, and leadership direction

Process Improvement and Scalable Growth

  • Map and improve end-to-end sales processes to reduce friction, handoffs, manual effort, and avoidable errors
  • Define and monitor Sales Operations KPIs and service standards that measure efficiency, accuracy, responsiveness, and execution quality
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects that improve the commercial operating model, including system implementations and process redesign
  • Develop scalable processes and documentation that support growth into new customers, channels, products, and geographies

General Duties

  • Inform Executive team on sell thru and sell in trends, inventory positions and general customer business trends
  • Stay informed on product launches, pricing, customer programs, channel developments, and company priorities
  • Represent L.A.B. Golf professionally in interactions with internal partners, customers, and external stakeholders
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support Sales objectives and overall company growth

Qualifications, Skills And Attributes

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of formal education

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Customer Operations, Business Operations, or a closely related field
  • Experience supporting B2B, wholesale, retail, dealer, distributor, or other multi-channel sales organizations strongly preferred
  • Experience in consumer products, sporting goods, golf, retail, or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Demonstrated experience improving sales processes, reporting, systems, and cross-functional execution
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, order management, and reporting environments; NetSuite experience preferred
  • Experience supporting sales planning, performance reporting, pricing or program administration, and order-book management preferred
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • People leadership, team supervision, or experience coaching and directing operational resources preferred

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including lookups, pivot tables, data validation, and analysis of large data sets
  • Strong proficiency with CRM and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
  • Proficiency or experience with SPS Commerce, including EDI transactions and preparing sell-thru data reporting
  • Experience building dashboards and recurring reporting; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools preferred
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate analysis into clear commercial stories and recommendations
  • Strong understanding of sales data, master data, pipeline and order-book reporting, and data governance principles

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods while reviewing sales data, systems, reports, and business communications
  • Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone, and other standard office equipment
  • Adequate vision to read and interpret spreadsheets, dashboards, reports, and internal documentation in digital and printed formats
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move product samples, files, or office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Capability to move between office spaces, meeting rooms, and production or fulfillment areas as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment balancing analytical work, meetings, and operational problem-solving

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple commercial initiatives, operational issues, reporting deadlines, and stakeholder needs simultaneously
