Role Overview
The role is to own the path from raw data to trusted decisions, combining data engineering, analytics engineering, product analytics, and technical platform ownership. The company is looking for a dedicated data hire to establish standards for data modeling, quality, ownership, observability, and collaboration across Product Development.
What You Will Do
The responsibilities include making company metrics trustworthy, building a reliable model of product usage, owning the data platform in production, partnering with Product Engineers, improving product instrumentation, serving the company’s core data consumers, and creating self-service foundations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has built and operated production data pipelines and analytical models, can move between infrastructure, SQL modeling, exploratory analysis, and conversations about product or business definitions, and is comfortable working with dbt, analytical databases, deployment systems, and business intelligence tools.
