Analytics Engineering Manager, Data Platform & Governance

Role Overview

The Analytics Engineering Manager, Data Platform & Governance will be responsible for owning the data roadmap, data quality, and data governance at LawnStarter. They will work on building automation, writing checks, and fixing what’s broken to ensure the data platform is trustworthy and scalable.

The role involves building the data roadmap, automating data quality checks, and ensuring the data platform is trustworthy and scalable. The manager will also be responsible for data lineage, impact analysis, and event tracking governance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with data governance, data quality, and data lineage
• Experience with data platforms, such as Redshift, dbt, and Airflow
• Ability to build automation and write checks to ensure data quality and trustworthiness
• Experience with event tracking governance and data security
• Ability to work with AI tools, such as Claude Code, Codex, and Brain
• Experience with BI tools, such as Lightdash, Tableau, and Metabase
• Ability to work with stakeholders to understand business needs and turn them into a prioritized plan

Benefits

• Base salary: $75k–$120k/year
