Role Overview
Join Syneos Health as a Psychiatric Account Manager and build relationships with recognized experts and stakeholders in the therapeutic area, Community Mental Health Clinics, hospital/institutional systems, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs). The role requires developing and driving relationships with target institutions and community accounts, achieving success in a complex selling environment, and using data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.
What You Will Do
Develop and drive relationships with target institutions and community accounts, achieve success in a complex selling environment, use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making, and deliver clinical brand-specific presentations of product(s) to physicians and other appropriate healthcare professionals.

Requirements
- BA/BS degree required; Life Sciences preferred
- 5+ years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Healthcare industry experience required
- Psychiatric experience is required
- A working knowledge of the Schizophrenia field is strongly preferred
- CMHC account management and/or Hospital/Institutional experience strongly preferred
- Established relationships in the geography is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of formulary approval process and driving formulary approvals is preferred
- Must live near to territory boundaries
- Proven track record of success in a high science competitive selling environment
- Ability to identify key decision makers, develop positive relationships and strong customer dedication
- Proven track record of success in exceeding results
- Self-starter, highly motivated to succeed
- Strong communication, business analytics and account management skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
