We are looking for an Associate Financial Analyst responsible for managing financial forecasting as well as actuals control and submission for the DACH region. The role aims to collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate performance tracking and achievement of sales, profitability, and working capital targets.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a finance function
- Strong accounting knowledge, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Advanced technical skills, particularly in MS Excel (and/or SQL), with the ability to work with and manipulate complex, raw data
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Access); experience with Oracle, AS400, Salesforce, or VBA is an advantage
- Solid analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data, identify key issues, and recommend as well as implement corrective actions
- Sound business judgment, with the ability to align decisions to group, division, and corporate objectives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and functions
- Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to identify process improvements and share knowledge and best practices with others
- Self-starter with a willingness to take ownership, learn quickly, and work independently
- Good commercial awareness, ideally within a consumer goods, retail, or FMCG environment
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline
- Very good command of English; German language skills would be an advantage
