Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Information, Data & AI, this 12-month maternity leave coverage role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure that support data-driven initiatives.
Requirements
- College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in a Data Engineer role
- Azure or other cloud certifications (e.g., Fabric Data Engineer)
- Strong knowledge of data privacy practices and relevant regulations
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Fabric
- Strong programming and query language skills (Python, SQL, KQL)
- Familiarity with federated data governance and self-service data platforms
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate non-technical requirements into technical solutions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
