Role Overview
As Group Manager, Communications and Government Services, you will lead an integrated function that drives transparency, strengthens public trust, and ensures excellence in communications, engagement and government services. This is a high-impact role operating close to Ministers and the Executive Leadership Team, where judgement, credibility and delivery really matter.

Requirements
- Significant senior leadership experience in strategic communications, engagement, and government service delivery functions
- Proven experience leading business transformation, including embedding new operating models and technology-enabled ways of working across a complex organisation
- Experience leading leaders, building capability, and shaping high-performing, connected teams
- Deep understanding of the machinery of government, including working at the political interface and delivering on ministerial and statutory obligations
- Strong judgement and credibility, with the ability to operate confidently with Ministers’ offices, senior leaders, and diverse stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear, practical advice and key messages
- A strong delivery focus, with the ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and maintain performance under pressure
