Head of Corporate Reporting & Financial Operations

Role Overview

The Head of Corporate Reporting & Financial Operations will be a leader in their field, possessing exceptional technical knowledge. They will have a deep understanding of financial operations, with a demonstrable background of delivering and assisting with large transformation projects. They will work closely with other functions, embedding best in class financial controls governance as well as developing financial literacy across the business.

What You Will Do

The role will be responsible for corporate reporting, financial control, financial operations, and tax. The Head of Corporate Reporting & Financial Operations will lead the development and execution of the corporate reporting strategy, oversee the preparation and timely submission of all statutory financial reports, and own the relationship with external auditors.

Requirements

• Chartered accountant (ACA preferred)
• Experience across both practice and industry is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Demonstrated ability to form and defend accounting judgements with auditors and committees
• Experience of an IPO, IPO-readiness programme or a listed environment is strongly preferred
• Evidence of having delivered material automation or systems change in finance
• Genuine fluency with how AI changes the operating model of a finance team
• Exceptional project leadership across internal and external stakeholders
• Gravitas to influence at ExCo and Board level
