Role Overview

The Business Development Director will be responsible for researching prospective accounts, pursuing leads, and developing relationships to attract new clients. The ideal candidate should have experience in market research, targeting, and building a pipeline of clients.

The successful candidate will research prospective accounts, pursue leads, and leverage their network to ensure follow-through to a successful opportunity. They will also collaborate with teammates to ensure proposal and presentation requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
  • One-to-two years related experience and/or training
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Networking, sales, marketing, and opportunity analysis skills
  • Experience researching and understanding markets
  • Ability to target and develop relationships
  • Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM system
  • Superior presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to develop deep relationships and communicate information in a clear and concise manner
