Role Overview
Direct sales of communications systems/solutions, video-based situational awareness and access control solutions, command center software, as well as end-user devices through to the U.S. Department of Defense/War, as well as U.S. Federal Government to Foreign Militaries, Ministries of the Interior, State Boarder Guards, and other government agency accounts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
What You Will Do
Identifies diverse customer needs, and understand how our product portfolio can be applied to satisfy these needs. Works closely with U.S. DoD/DoW as well as foreign Government customers to establish strong, positive relationships that will lead to short and long-term account growth and subsequent sales.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Preference for experience with DOD and/or DOS. Candidates must be willing to travel throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, as well as the United States.
Requirements
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, and/or using Motorola Solutions communications systems, video-based situational awareness and access controls solutions, as well as associated end-user devices in real-world situations
- Excellent communication and creative selling skills, including strong presentation and writing skills
- Ability to close sales/projects/programs
- An understanding of the proposal process, as well as a demonstrated ability to professionally and effectively assemble proposals
- General technical knowledge of IP networks and associated components, network security/information assurance, and RF principals
- Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by various government contracts
- Based on global travel requirements a second language is preferential
