Role Overview
The Sales Engineer I role generates new business opportunities by consistently prospecting, cold calling, and developing relationships with new customers and markets within the assigned territory.
What You Will Do
Meet established sales objectives to support the division operating plan, including performing sales activities such as identifying, qualifying, and engaging new customers and markets, and developing and executing action plans to penetrate new markets and acquire new accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on new customer acquisition, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Business field
- 1–2 years of experience in machine tool, industrial, or capital equipment sales
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
