The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) seeks a Market Solutions Engineer to support the electric power system model used by the scheduling and dispatch software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely-related technical field
- Two (2) years of experience as an Analyst or Engineer in the energy industry
- Two (2) years’ experience in the following: Creating optimization models for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) dispatch, Developing bidding strategies in wholesale electricity markets, Working with Python and Microsoft Visual Studio Code
