Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will guide Norfolk County’s budgeting, revenue administration, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate analysis that supports informed decisions.

What You Will Do

The Senior Financial Analyst will assist in preparing budgets, coordinate subsidies and external grants, act as a primary liaison to departments on financial policies and procedures, and provide expert advice on financial implications.

Requirements

• Four (4) year university Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce or related discipline
• Professional Accounting Designation from Chartered Professional Accountants Association (CPA)
• Certificate from the Association of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO) Municipal Finance and Accounting Program (MAFP) and/or certificate from the Ontario Municipal Tax and Revenue Association (OMTRA) Municipal Revenue Administration Program (MRAP)
• Over three (3) years of progressive accounting and financial analysis experience
