OFX is seeking a driven, results-oriented team player to join their expanding sales team as an Account Executive / Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will have a track record of exceeding sales targets, strong understanding of business and finance operations, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. The role is available Australia-wide, with employees based in Sydney working in a hybrid model and those in other locations working fully remotely.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years’ experience in a full cycle closing sales role in SMB and/or Mid-Market B2B SaaS, payments or FX, with demonstrated success closing deals worth $50k+ revenue p.a.
- Education: Post Secondary degree or diploma in related field or equivalent experience
- Proven Sales Success: Consistently achieved sales goals in competitive fast-paced environment
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the SaaS and/or FX sales process for selling to SMB and/or Mid-Market segments
- Client-Focused Sales Skills: Strong consultative sales approach, with the ability to educate clients and tailor solutions to meet needs.
- Industry Expertise: Experience selling to finance leaders, CPAs, accounting firms, bookkeepers, and banking sectors
- Tech-Savvy & SaaS: Comfortable with SaaS applications, able to translate technical features into business benefits for clients. Familiar with web conferencing tools for product demos and presentations
- Detail-Orientated: Experience with CRMs specifically Salesforce. Ability to maintain accurate forecasting and records
- Problem-Solving & Creativity: Ability to identify client needs and work towards solutions
- Communication & Professionalism: Confident, articulate, professional communicator (verbal and written) with strong listening and presentation skills and the ability to establish relationships quickly
- Collaborative & Motivated: Team player with a competitive edge, self-motivated, and highly adaptable in fast-paced environments. Persistent and goal oriented
- Organised & Efficient: Strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities, with a focus on efficiency
