Role Overview
Peraton is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT).
What You Will Do
Perform app development, prototyping, testing and demonstrating capabilities to users. Perform code merges, resolve conflicts, deploy repositories to sandboxes and test environments, as well as assist deployments to higher environments and production.

Work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with customers to architect Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. Use your technical proficiency with the Salesforce platform to design and develop business functionalities using inbuilt CRM/CX technologies and functionalities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years professional experience
- At least 5 years of direct experience in software development lifecycle
- At least 5 years of experience in development of enterprise-level Salesforce projects
- Fluent in performing code merges of Salesforce git repositories
- Proficiency in writing Visualforce, Apex classes/controllers, triggers, SOQL and SOSL
- Active Secret (or higher) clearance
- US citizenship required
