Role Overview

The Director of Engineering, Growth will lead multiple engineering teams and managers responsible for critical growth initiatives across Poshmark. The role requires technical depth to engage in architecture discussions, challenge technical decisions, and help teams navigate complex technical and product problems.

What You Will Do

Lead multiple engineering teams and Engineering Managers, partner with Product, Design, Data Science, Analytics, and Marketing to define Growth strategy, roadmaps, and priorities, drive measurable improvements across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and other key growth opportunities.

• 7+ years of engineering leadership experience
• Proven track record delivering complex, high-impact product and technology initiatives
• Strong technical depth with the ability to participate meaningfully in architecture, system design, and technical strategy discussions
• Experience building experimentation-driven products and using data to make product and engineering decisions
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Product, Design, Data Science, Analytics, Marketing, and other business functions
• Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, reliability, and scalable system design
• Experience developing engineering leaders and building high-performing teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior technical, product, and executive stakeholders
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities
