Role Overview
Recidiviz is hiring a Data Analyst to join their team. The role involves working with complex criminal justice data, developing analyses and tools, and collaborating with the team to improve outcomes for people in the criminal justice system.
What You Will Do
The Data Analyst will explore datasets to find patterns and insights, carry out well-scoped analyses, build clear visualizations, and communicate findings to internal teams and state partners.

Requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for working with internal and external partners
- Care and curiosity in inspecting source data and checking results closely
- 6 or more months of practical experience exploring, analyzing, and cleaning real-world datasets
- Working proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, and window functions
- Familiarity with Python, specifically the Pandas package, for data analysis and visualization
