Inside Sales Representative

Role Overview

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for proactive inside telephone or email sales and marketing efforts to increase profitable sales. They establish and maintain customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and prospect for new business.

What You Will Do

The main duties include processing telephone orders, assisting outside sales personnel, utilizing digital tools to sell and market products, and prospecting for new accounts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience
• High School or GED – Required
• Basic/intermediate product and application knowledge essential
• Ability to handle basic/intermediate issues and problems
• Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers
• Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to drive decisions with influence
• Highly self-motivated
• Familiar with Microsoft Office as well as relevant ERP systems and Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM)
• Ability to work overtime as needed
