Expert Data Engineer

We are looking for an Expert Data Engineer to define and govern the architecture of data products and data engineering pipelines, establish data engineering standards, and develop and ensure the adoption of reference engineering practices.

Requirements

• Education in Engineering, Computer Science, or related areas
• Proven experience in Data Engineering
• Experience in defining and evolving modern data architectures, including Lakehouse and hybrid analytical platforms
• Experience in SQL, Python, and PySpark languages (or equivalent technologies)
• Solid knowledge and experience in distributed processing (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Hive)
• Experience in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP, or AWS)
• Experience in processing large volumes of data in batch and/or streaming
• Strong knowledge of good engineering practices, including versioning (Git), automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• High analytical capacity, attention to detail, and structuring of complex information
• Strong sense of technical responsibility, critical thinking, and systemic vision
• Autonomy, proactivity, and orientation towards sustainable technical solutions in the long term
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams (Product, Engineering, Data Platform, and Business)
• Continuous curiosity and willingness to technologically evolve and influence good practices
