Inside Sales Representative

Role Overview

World Electric is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction through processing orders and coordinating customer service needs. The representative will be responsible for sales, customer service, and working with the outside sales and manager to secure customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

The Inside Sales Representative will receive calls from customers, quote prices, and use sales skills to complete the purchase. They will also work with the shipping department to arrange special delivery circumstances, prepare reports on sales activities, and source product for special and direct non-stock customer orders.

Requirements

• Read and interpret documents such as training instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
• Interface in a customer responsive manner over the telephone and in person.
• Handle difficult customer situations with diplomacy.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• The individual must be entrepreneurial and assertive and possess the experience, skills, and attitude to be able to achieve the company’s market share/revenue goals.
• Experience utilizing digital sales tools to enhance the customer experience (job management, quotes, sales tracking, and all other related web capabilities).
