Tech Lead Software Engineer – MarTech/Content Supply Chain

Role Overview

The Tech Lead Software Engineer will provide hands-on technical leadership for the CMS, Adobe, cloud, integration, and DevOps capabilities that support Southwest’s enterprise Content Supply Chain. The role combines strong engineering depth with technical leadership, requiring the ability to design scalable platforms and reusable engineering patterns across CMS/DAM, Adobe AEM, Workfront, Workfront Fusion, AWS, APIs, middleware, and enterprise integrations.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of the Tech Lead Software Engineer include providing accurate development estimates, creating and maintaining application designs, developing and reviewing software, providing technical oversight for performance testing, planning and overseeing application deployment activities, investigating new technologies, and mentoring and coaching the Development Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training
• Expert level experience in software engineering
• 8-10+ years of relevant work-related experience
• 3+ years of experience providing technical leadership through architecture/design decisions, engineering standards, code quality, mentoring, or delivery leadership
