Key Account Manager

Role Overview

The Key Account Manager is responsible for maximizing opportunities, managing risk, and delivering on profitability goals within their portfolio of accounts. They will develop bi-annual business plans, deliver product presentations, and work with the support team to develop forecasts. The role requires a customer-driven approach, ability to build and maintain relationships, and proficiency in MS Office software and SAP.

What You Will Do

The Key Account Manager will develop bi-annual business plans, deliver product presentations, and work with the support team to develop forecasts. They will also analyze sell-through data and market intelligence to maximize business opportunities while minimizing risk, and communicate clearly and efficiently with customers.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree, minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the CPG or Toy industry, and demonstrated success managing a business portfolio. They will be customer-driven, able to build and maintain relationships, and have proficiency in MS Office software and SAP.

Requirements

• Master’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role in the CPG or Toy industry
• Retail experience preferred
• Demonstrated success managing a business portfolio
• Customer driven approach and a ‘go-getter’ attitude
• Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
• Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
• Goal oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence & determination
• Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, Salesforce an asset
• Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, read POS reports
• Thorough understanding and use of forecasting systems
• Flexibility regarding accounts managed
• Full clean driving license
• Ability to travel and participate to International Trade Fairs in Europe
