Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the Operational Account Management (OAM) team by developing interactive analytical applications, scheduled customer reports, and ad hoc customer report requests. The role will also involve recommending and implementing improvements to our reporting processes.

What You Will Do

Deliver state-of-the-art data analytics and reporting solutions leveraging our data. Develop data visualisations and reports for analysing datasets (Power BI, Excel). Present ideas and solutions to business users and software developers in a clear and understandable way.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The successful candidate will be practised in hands-on development of software or analytics solutions. Knowledge of VBA beneficial. Experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query) is a benefit — as is experience with comparable BI platforms, since we’re happy to support the transition.

Requirements

• Demonstrated technical expertise in business intelligence tools
• Solid hands-on SQL skills — writing and optimising queries, joins and aggregations against large datasets
• Prior experience working on projects related to data management and/or business intelligence
• Experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query) is a benefit
• Knowledge of data governance practices and Power BI security — workspace access, row-level security and controlled sharing of client data — is a benefit
• An understanding of the gaming and sports betting industry is a strong advantage
• Experience working with Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena and/or Microsoft SQL Server is a benefit
