Role Overview

The Business Development Representative is responsible for expanding the facility’s lines of service by developing and retaining referrals from hospitals, physicians, and other professional referral sources.

What You Will Do

Develops and implements business development programs, maintains a schedule of primary sources, and documents every contact in the Customer Management Relationship system.

Develops strong relationships with key referral sources, targets and creates new strategies for increasing business, and maintains current awareness of changes in the industry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • At least two years’ related experience in healthcare business development and marketing role in behavioral health or substance use preferred
  • Good understanding of the local market and referral base
  • Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatments
  • Organized and demonstrate the ability to multitask and have well-developed and effective relational skills
  • Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile, where facility requires
