The Director Marketplace New Business Development, Alliances role is responsible for setting the strategy, operating model, and tooling that power seller acquisition across the full sales lifecycle for Target+. The role oversees sales operations, including intake, pipeline flow, tooling, and reporting, and manages relationships with Strategic Partnership leadership to align roadmap for growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.)
- 7+ years of experience in merchandising, inventory management, forecasting, or product selection (including open-to-buy management)
- 3+ years of eCommerce experience; marketplace/3P expertise strongly preferred
- Proven business acumen with a track record of building industry relationships and leveraging data analytics to inform decisions
- Expertise in business planning, forecasting, and defining KPIs to drive execution of business strategy
- Entrepreneurial and performance-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Resilient and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring clarity and decisiveness in complex or changing situations
- Excellent communicator with strong planning, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
