Role Overview
This position performs administrative and supervisory work in directing the use of the Civic Center Complex. Responsibilities include administrative supervision of all sales initiative, marketing strategies and marketing staff.
What You Will Do
Key job duties will include curating and booking a diverse range of live events that align with the Civic Center’s brand and audience preferences and seeking out internal advertising revenue opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various music genres and entertainment trends, strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to operate computers for data entry and word processing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A bachelor’s degree in arts management, business administration, or related field is highly preferred
- A minimum of three years’ experience in managing sales required
- Experience in event sales, talent buying, booking, or a related role within the live entertainment industry is preferred
- At least two years in a supervisory position required
- Completion of Trained Crowd Manager class is required upon hire
- Certification in First Aid and CPR/AED is required upon hire
- Certified Meeting Professional or another event planning related certification is preferred but not required
- Valid Texas Driver’s License required
