SEO Manager (China Market)

Role Overview

The SEO Manager (China Market) will be responsible for driving Tickmill’s organic growth strategy across Mainland China and Chinese-speaking audiences globally. The role will involve developing and executing localized SEO initiatives tailored to the Chinese digital ecosystem.

What You Will Do

The SEO Manager will optimize website performance, improve organic rankings, identify new growth opportunities, and ensure all SEO activities align with local market requirements and industry regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns targeting the Chinese market, and a strong understanding of Chinese search engines, particularly Baidu.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns targeting the Chinese market.
• Strong experience within the Forex, CFD, Fintech, Crypto, Online Trading, or wider Financial Services industry.
• Deep understanding of Chinese search engines, particularly Baidu, and familiarity with ranking algorithms and optimization best practices.
• Strong expertise in keyword research, technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and link building.
• Hands-on experience using Baidu Webmaster Tools, Baidu Tongji, Ahrefs, Semrush, Dragon Metrics, or similar SEO platforms.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, website architecture, and search engine crawling and indexing processes.
• Ability to analyse large datasets, identify business opportunities, and translate insights into actionable SEO strategies.
• Experience working closely with developers, content creators, marketers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in Simplified Chinese (written and spoken) and professional proficiency in English.
