BI & Analytics Engineer

At TreviPay, we’re seeking a highly skilled remote BI & Analytics Engineer to bridge the gap between data engineering and our analytics team. This role is responsible for transforming raw data into scalable, trusted datasets and delivering high-impact analytics solutions through our modern BI visualization platform and leveraging our cloud data platform.

Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models (dimensional, star/snowflake schemas)
• Develop and optimize SQL / PL-SQL transformations for analytics consumption
• Implement and manage semantic layers to standardize business logic and metrics
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across datasets
• Develop and maintain dashboards, liveboards, and search-driven analytics (preferably in ThoughtSpot)
• Translate business requirements into intuitive, self-service analytics solutions
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards
• Work within Snowflake for data modeling, performance tuning, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
• Optimize query performance and warehouse utilization
• Support embedded analytics use cases (APIs, SDKs, or iframe-based integrations)
• Enable external and internal users with governed, scalable analytics access
• Drive adoption of BI tools through best practices and training
• Define and enforce standards for: Data modeling, Naming conventions, Metric definitions, Data cataloging and documentation
