Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Data Engineer passionate about creating next-generation cloud-based products and services for the Department of War’s (DoW) Test & Evaluation (T&E) community. This role blends Cloud Architecture, Data Engineering, and DevSecOps to support the complete T&E data lifecycle—from test planning through evaluation and operational deployment.

What You Will Do

Design and implement scalable, secure data storage solutions on Azure cloud infrastructure. Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and distribution of large-scale datasets. Implement automated data workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure strongly preferred).
• 3+ years designing and implementing data engineering solutions in production environments.
• 2+ years working with DoW (formerly, DoD) or federal government systems and security requirements.
