Accounting Manager – Finance Operations & Transformation

Role Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Manager – Finance Operations & Transformation to support finance transformation initiatives through process improvement, automation, systems optimization, and the application of practical, AI-enabled solutions. This role will play a key part in enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across finance operations.

What You Will Do

Coordinate and support US Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Assist with maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by support staff.

Why It Might Be a Fit

7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance operations. Strong understanding of GL, close processes, AP/AR, and internal controls. Experience in A&E, construction, or project-based industries preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance operations
• Strong understanding of GL, close processes, AP/AR, and internal controls
• Experience in A&E, construction, or project-based industries preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (Deltek, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle or similar)
• Exposure to automation and data tools preferred
• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot or similar platform)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• High integrity and collaborative mindset
• Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence
